Demonstrate designated smoking areas with clear signage. Ensure that all visitors, employees and customers understand where they can smoke with clear ‘smoking area’ signs. The signs are green (safety conditions signs colour) indicating that smoking is allowed in this area. Choose from 2 designs – one indicating that this is a smoking area and the other demonstrating the same information but with additional instruction on safe cigarette disposal.
Signs are ISO 7010 / Health and Safety Regulations 1996 compliant, featuring the P003 image of a fuming cigarette. Since the introduction of the smoking ban in the UK (no enclosed spaces), visitors on site may be unsure as to where they are allowed to smoke. Make it clear with properly displayed smoking signage.
