Ensure areas and rooms are kept locked with blue mandatory ‘keep locked’ signage. Choose from the H & S sign designs below. All ‘keep locked’ signs have a dark blue background, indicating that the instructions are mandatory. All signs feature image M028 from ISO 7010 Health and Safety Regulations 1996 – the image consists of a padlock and chains, to pictorially communicate that the area must be locked.
It is essential to display proper signage around dangerous or hazardous areas, equipment or stores that must not be accessed by members of the public. Make sure your message is clear with proper signage – include magnetic signs, rigid signs, floor stickers, window stickers and glow in the dark signs around areas that must remain locked.
